This is an exciting time to blog about the ideas that have been proliferating throughout my career. Personally, I am transitioning away from being corporately employed, into self -employment. Professionally, I am advancing to new levels of opportunity for my business to thrive. Prospectively, I seek to obtain my Masters Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University as a bridge to that end.

*CORPORATE EMPLOYMENT
There are two industries of which I have devoted most of my occupied time, consequently cultivating dual career tracks. With 14 years working as an Employment Counselor, plus 12 concurrent years working as a Manager for in home health care services, my experience has provided unique opportunities to build key strengths in areas that are directly transferable. Having worked with youth and adults from a broad range of backgrounds and disciplines, my interpersonal communication skills prove effective for evaluating the needs of the individual, a group, or an organization. Both vocations demand abilities to be assessed; in order to create person centered plans. Rather it’s for occupation, vocation, or rehabilitation, each of them involves evoking a vision.
From the exposure of interviewing more than 10,000 people, I have been able to gain leadership within both industries. My success in recruitment can in part be accredited to the principle of giving, which is an essential value that I have practiced. In addition to giving, other traits that help support my ability to emerge as a leader, include courage, creativity and the ability to help others educe their vision.
*SELF–EMPLOYMENT
By effectively demonstrating my abilities to achieve job placement, I have been awarded the status of State Vendor for Limited Use contracts with the State of Minnesota. Recent accomplishments include recognition by the State of Minnesota as a targeted business. Doing business as Fair Employment Opportunities opens the doors for my visions to come into fruition. With invitations to compete for contracts in amounts exceeding $50,000, I seek to offer soft skills job readiness to individuals, groups and for various organizations through on line supports. I am interested in collaborations with companies whose customers need to be prepared with a vision for their own brand, with vita, resume and social media enhancements in place prior to signing an agreement.
*PROSPECTIVE EDUCATIONAL EXPERTISE
To enhance the competitive edge of my business, I have made an investment in the expansion of my knowledge in media and entertainment. To continuously evaluate my ability to help make ones vision go viral, I am working with one artist. While the artist already has plenty of her own written materials, in the absence of copyrights, she offers covers of her favorite artist, This work has been compiled on her you tube channel. Upon completion of my degree, I will not only have fully developed a comprehensive business plan, by participating with my artist in a shared vision found on this blog, the practical application of my academic journey should yield a more intense learning experience.
*HOBBIES
When exposed to art form, and inspirational speakers, I write. Some of the writing has developed from poems, raps, rhymes, and short stories, onto commercials, jingles, books, plays, video outline, and movie scripts. Learning how to record. Turning scrap books into vision boards.
